Airtime
charges are calculated from call-connected time with WestLink Plans.
Call-connected airtime starts when you place a call and your called
party answers or when you answer an incoming call.
If no one answers a call you make, you do not get charged for
airtime. If you do not answer
a call that comes to your phone, you do not get charged airtime.
Some carriers start airtime charges as
soon as you hit your send or talk button!
Air
Time is billed as follows:
Out going calls: Every
call will generate at least 1 minute of airtime.
Outgoing calls are rounded to full minutes and deducted from our
account. You will receive a
message before each call updating you on your account balance.
In
Coming Calls: Every call is rounded to full minutes and deducted from your account.

wide calling area for WestLink prepay plans purchased on or after 11/25/2002.

Area
code wide calling area for WestLink prepay plans purchased on or before
11/23/2002.

Long
Distance outside your local calling area code is billed in full 1-minute
increments.

Calls
that you make to your voice mailbox are charged airtime.

Calls
that go to your voice mail do not get charged for airtime

International
calling is available upon request!

Calls
that you make to 800 numbers (toll free) are charged airtime

Directory
Assistance calls are charged 99 cents (up to two listings per call).
Receiving
Emails to your WestLink phone does NOT cost you airtime charges!
Using your WestLink Phone for sending and receiving messages (WestLink
Mobile Chat) does not charge either phone airtime!

PLEASE
NOTE: WestLink prepay plans purchased
on or after 11/25/2002 must be recharged every month to maintain
service.
WesLink Prepay Plans
purchased on or before 11/23/2002 must be recharged every 3 months.
Each recharge must be a
minimum of $10.00. Any remaining monthly balances carry over as long
as the minium recharge requirement is met.
